Gourmet food provided by Obrigado Restaurant in Louisa and wine pairing of vintages of Cooper Norton. 3 Seatings Available: 11:30, 2:00 and 4:30. $50.00 / pp. Purchase reserved seating tickets HERE March 16, 2013 SPCA and Rosie- 9am-1pm The Richmond SPCA's Annual Dog Jog and 5k Run is back for their 11th year! The 5k run opens the event and then comes the dog jog, a leisurely 1 mile jog for you and your dog, followed by a vendor fair filled with food, shopping, music, and of course more furry faces! March 17: St. Patrick's Day Celebration – 11-5 Sunday.Wear your best green! Come on out and enjoy the fun! Live music by RJ Marshall band. Irish dishes will be available for sale from Obrigados. Normal tasting fees apply. March 30: Jazz & Chocolate – 11-5 Saturday. What could be better than wine and chocolate and jazz? $15 in advance at www.coopervineyards.com or $20 at the door. Live jazz, chocolate fountain, chocolate vendors. April 21: Come and enjoy some new releases of Cooper Vineyards wines, great music and good food from Obrigado. Sunday from noon-4. Fresh springtime dishes with pasta, pesto, peas and asparagus with optional shrimp added and a side salad for purchase. Mercutio will be playing on the deck from 1:30-4:30 Sunday. April 27: "Go Green" with the Heart of Virginia Wineries – 11-5 Saturday. Held at Cooper Vineyards - Celebrate Arbor Day and Cooper Vineyards' "green" building. Learn how to "Be Green". HOVAwineries, live Celtic music. $15pp Advance Tickets - Closes Friday at 1pm. Featuring 6 wineries: Live Music by The Donneybrooks On site dog adoptions by Animal Connections Local and "Green" Vendors Food for purchase – Slideways Mobile Bistro May 19: Wine Club Members Pickup Party May 25-26: Lucy's Weekend – Our annual benefit for the Richmond SPCA In memory of our beloved late hound, Lucy and celebrating our new rescue, Rosie who also stars this year as mascot for the Richmond SPCA. On-site dog adoptions from the Tail Wag'n, live music, guest winery, and pet–lovers wineglass. Raffle. Adopt a pet this weekend. Leashed 4-legged friends, lawn chairs and picnics welcome. "A Blessing of the Animals" on Sunday at 1:00pm by Rev. Min. Raffle proceeds and portion of tickets sales will be donated to Richmond SPCA.$20 at door. Raffle tickets $5 or 6/$25. TBA: Annual mini-Cooper Rally – for wine-lovers and mini-lovers alike – drive your mini if you have one.
